Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy

Generative AI models can support you in many ways, e.g. in learning new things, being creative and exploring new topics.
We expect you to use them responsibly and lawfully. Therefore, you may not use the WeDaVinci services that refer to this policy to
1. carry out or facilitate dangerous, illegal or harmful activities, including
a. Enabling or promoting illegal activities or violations of the law, including
i. Promoting or creating content that involves the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children
ii. Promoting or facilitating the sale of illegal substances, goods or services or providing instructions on how to make or obtain them
iii. Encouraging users to commit criminal offences or enabling the commission of such offences
iv. Promoting or creating content that glorifies violence, extremism or terrorism
b. Abusing, damaging, impairing or disrupting services (or inciting the same), including
i. Promoting or enabling the creation or distribution of spam
ii. Creating content for misleading or fraudulent activities, scams, phishing or malware
c. Attempts to override or circumvent security filters or intentionally cause the model to behave in a way that is inappropriate.
d. Creating content that causes or encourages harm to individuals or groups, including
i. Creating content that incites or promotes hatred
ii. Enabling harassment or bullying methods to intimidate, abuse or offend others
iii. Creating content that enables, promotes or incites violence
iv. Creating content that enables, promotes or incites self-harming behaviour
v. Generating personal information for dissemination or other harm
vi. Observing or monitoring individuals without their consent
vii. Creating content that may have an unfair or harmful effect on individuals, particularly in relation to sensitive or specially protected characteristics

2. the creation and dissemination of content that is intended to misinform, misrepresent or mislead, including
a. Misrepresenting the origin of created content by claiming that the content was created by a human or that it is original work with the intent to deceive the public
b. Creating content by impersonating the identity of another person (living or deceased) with the intent to deceive the public.
c. making misleading claims of expertise or competence in sensitive areas (e.g. health, finance, public services or law)
d. making automated decisions in areas that affect material or individual rights or welfare (e.g. finance, law, employment, health, housing, insurance and benefits).

3. creation of sexually explicit content, including content created for the purpose of pornography or sexual gratification, e.g. sexual chatbots. This does not apply to content created for scientific, educational, documentary or artistic purposes.
